This website is dedicated to all of the loyal fans that always wanted to air out their gripes with a particular celebrity. This website was created out of necessity! Members of our team would faithfully log onto the popular gossip sites and would find ourselves entertained by the hilarious user comments rather than the actual articles. That is when DCWL realized that fans have a LOT to say and overall we NEED a bigger platform to voice our thoughts because 140 characters on Twitter just isn't enough! (Sorry Jack Dorsey)
Many celebrities pretend that they're sooooo above websites such as this and that they could care less about about our criticisms. But we have it on good authority that these stars definitely care and they do want to know what we (the fans) think about them--the good or the bad. Why? Well, in order to arrive to "celebredom" one must be motivated, determined, committed and blah blah blah blah. Of course all of these attributes are commendable and that is why we love them. But we think the most important characteristic that every celebrity possesses in one form or another is narcissism. Yup we said it. Celebrities are egotistic, vain, and self absorbed. BUT WE LOVE IT!!! Celebrities remain relevant due to OUR (fans) acknowledgment of their existence. Point blank we technically finance these celebrities lifestyles. YES we have a stock in actors, authors, music artists, TV hosts, political pundits, athletes (re: endorsement value) hell even the reality tv "stars" <---"Rolling our eyes" on that one. If you are a Superstar please graciously accept our criticisms, digest our comments and let them marinate, especially if you ultimately want tokeep checks and financial opportunities coming in.
So with all of that said---loyal celebrity fans, whomever your idol may be, write your letter to a celebrity of your choice and email it to us for posting. We find that writing letters can be therapeutic for the writer and on some occasions for the intended reader. Please, whether you submit positive or negative feed back to the celebrity we just ask that you provide your criticism in a CONSTRUCTIVE form. We understand expletives can add color to an otherwise black and white story or vividly express ones thoughts, especially if your vocabulary is limited. However, please try to use them sparingly. Simply put--if you cannot articulate your thoughts in a respectable manner with few grammatical errors, then our apologies, but this website is not geared towards you. Sorry, but we aren't interested in proofreading ill written postings.
If your letter makes the cut (meaning if it is well timed, current AND makes us laugh out loud) it will be featured on our website!
